Sour Candy

These pictures were taken on Father's Day at my Dad's house. Reagan begged for this candy but I don't think she expected what she tasted.

And, the winner is...

A few months ago I posted an entry of my "new and improved" fourth bedroom to be used my any overnight guests. How sad is it that it took 2 months for an overnight guest? Anyway, last night, I finally had one! Cara is the winner! She is the first to sleep in the room! Yeah! Now, you ask, what does she win? Well, now that bedroom will now be named, "Cara's room". I know she will be honored. My last guest bedroom in our old house was named "Becky's room". Since Becky has not visited as much lately...she lost it! The rules of Cara's room are: 1. Anyone who stays the night from here on out have to ask Cara's permission to sleep in her room. If she says no, it is sofa city. 2. Cara always has first dibs on the room. 3. Cara no longer has to make reservations at Hotel Williamson. 4. Cara's stay at Hotel Williamson is free for life. Disclaimer: Free for life or as long as we stay at this house. Congratulations CARA!

And, along with staying in the room, guest also get the best wake up call! REAGAN! Just ask Cara...

Mommy's Princess

On Father's day my mother started complaining that Reagan's bangs were too long. After she went on about them for 5 minutes I told her to take Reagan on the deck and cut the stupid bangs! (Love you mom!) Anyway, after my mom had finished, she looked at Reagan and told her how beautiful she was. Reagan's response was..."Are you jealous?" After looking at this picture, you have to be jealous that she is my daughter and not yours!

Swimming

Saturday, we spent the day at Damon's friends in the pool. Drew had a few boys to play with while Reagan entertained the adults.

Reagan was trying to sweep water back into the pool. This shot cracked me up. I have about 4 of the same picture...just couldn't quit taking pictures of this!

My week...boring!

Well, last week I went to Canaan Valley
for a Mental Hygiene Conference. There is absolutely nothing to do there except swim in the indoor pool while dodging the yard apes! The last night we were there I went over to the main lodge to eat dinner when I discovered a sign they had just put up stating that the cable and internet would be down starting at 11 p.m. If you've ever been to Canaan, you know that everything shuts down at 10 p.m. Therefore, if you take away my cable you've taken away my entertainment. Anyone who knows me knows that I immediately pitched a fit! Yeah, yeah, I know...Reagan gets it from me. Anyway, the cable didn't go off and I was able to see the Miami game...even though they lost. But regardless, this deer, eating grass outside my door, was the excitement of my week. Sad but true.

Drew's birthday party. This was a hard day for me. Drew had just gotten into trouble for leaving his new baseball bat we paid $150 for at the ballfield. So, Drew was not allowed to get presents for his birthday, only money, and had to pay for a new bat. Yes, we are mean parents, but our kids will learn responsibility!

































Pumpkin carving at its best! Drew was really grossed out and had a hard time pulling the seed and crap out of the pumpkin. Fun night!

And last but not least (up until October), Drew...




He didn't want to go trick or treating so I told him he could dress up and scare the other kids. He was very excited. He came outside with our biggest knife...which I quickly instructed him to go back inside and find something else...so he came out with a big serving spoon. At least the cops wouldn't be called!

This is a picture of Damon on our roof. He was about to clean out our gutters before he realized the roof was hot! He soon got off the roof and cleaned the gutters from the ladder.




Drew's graduation night! He received the award for being most studious in his class. A few years ago he hated being known for being smart but it doesn't bother him now.
